Ventolin HFA is a prescription inhaled drug used to treat or prevent bronchospasm in people aged 4 years and older with reversible obstructive airways disease. albuterol is also used to prevent physical exercise of bronchospasm (EIB) in patients 4 years of age or older. It is not known whether Ventolin HFA is safe and effective in children under 4 years of age.
